Taki
TAKI is an awesome vacation &
tourist identify in West Bengal under Hasnabad police station of the Basirhat
subdivision in North 24 Parganas district on the banks of river Ichhamati. It
is serene place is ideal for a weekend trip. Taki is a cozy and quiet retreat, just a two-hour journey from
Kolkata. It is in the bank of Ichhamati stream. On the other part of Ichamati
stream is Khulna, district of Bangladesh.
Taki is the area of a number of zamindars. Most of the zamindar buildings are
in a decayed condition. There is hardly any maintenance from the successors of
the zamindars or from the local authorities. On the last day of Durga Puja, immersion of Durga
idols attracts thousands of visitors from both the countries.

From
Sealdah Station take Hasnabad Local train and get down at Taki Road Station. It
is a two to three hour journey. After getting down at Taki Road
